International Business APA7This is a two-person team assignment. Select a foreign country and complete the following in a well-researched, well-reasoned report. This assignment is designed to help you understand all the course objectives, focusing on the cultural, values & beliefs, social structure, educational, religious, and communication differences, as well as the government policies that facilitate international business (meets Course Objective 6).
1. Thoroughly examine the various issues that impact international business in your chosen country, including culture, values, social structure, education, religion, and communication. Also, determine what challenges and problems exist related to business enterprises in this country (meets Course Objectives 1 and 2).
2. Compare and contrast the essential cultural values, social structure, education, religion, and communication between the United States and your chosen country, particularly regarding international business (meets Course Objective 3).
3. Analyze how the country’s government’s regulatory system can encourage or discourage international business (meets Course Objective 4).
4. Evaluate how the country’s technology (or lack thereof) helps or hinders its entry into the international business community. (meets Course Objective 5)
The written report should be approximately 10+ pages (APA format—if you are unfamiliar with this format, please visit the writing center or see me), excluding the cover page, table of contents, references, and appendices. It must include at least 10 credible, scholarly references (see handout on Identifying Credible Sources for guidance).
Your written report should contain:
1. Cover Page: includes project title, authors’ names, and date.
2. Table of Contents, including a separate List of Figures and List of Tables as needed.
3. An introduction: a brief overview of your chosen country (1-2 paragraphs).
4. A discussion of the various issues that may impact international business in your chosen country, including culture, values, social structure, education, religion, and communication. (3-5 paragraphs).
5. Compare and contrast the essential cultural values, social structure, education, religion, and communication between the United States and your chosen country (4-6 paragraphs).
6. Analysis of how the country’s government’s regulatory system can encourage or discourage international businesses (4-6 paragraphs).
7. Analysis of how the country’s technology (or lack of technology) helps or hinders its entry into the international business community (3-4 paragraphs).
8. Recommend a product that might be successful in your country. Discuss the pros and cons of introducing this product into your county. Draw a conclusion. (3-4 paragraphs).
9. Conclusion: a summary of your findings (1-3 paragraphs).
10. References List (APA format).
11. Appendices: might include maps, pictures, charts, etc.
