This research article is part of a research study on Impacts and measures to support unemployed workers from the COVID-19 outbreak Case study of workers in Phitsanulok Province The research objective is To study the economic and social impacts on unemployed workers. from the COVID-19 outbreak and to study the results of government policies towards unemployed workers. from the COVID-19 outbreak Use integrated research methods to collect and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data. The key informants in the qualitative research method are government officials and labor representatives from all sectors, totaling 20 people. In the quantitative research method, data was collected with a sample group of unemployed workers. and 385 people were registered with the Social Security Office using a questionnaire with a confidence value of 0.79, then analyzed with descriiptive statistics. On the issue of economic and social impacts on unemployed workers from the COVID-19 outbreak. As a result, workers in every sector face problems in the economic dimension. being laid off and a reduction in compensation due to a reduction in working hours. Meanwhile, in the social dimension, workers face the state of unemployment. Due to the closure of business establishments Income is not enough to cover one’s debts. As for the success of government policy towards unemployed workers from the COVID-19 outbreak, it was found that unemployed workers reflected the results of the government’s operations in accommodating and providing relief to unemployed workers, consisting of effectiveness.
