Demonstrate your skills in searching, citing and critically analysing relevant literature

A 1500-word essay comparing and contrasting qualitative and quantitative research methods using a variety of sources (journal articles, books etc). The essay should demonstrate knowledge and understanding of research methodology, methods, and process. critical thinking and academic writing skills is required. The essay should be set out in a standard essay format without headings/subheadings. The introduction should:  Introduce the area/topic  Briefly explain what you will be discussing in the main body The main body should:  Provide the reader with an overview of the topic then discuss the topic and themes.  Present main aspects and arguments in a structured manner  Use a new paragraph to introduce and discuss different concepts/points  Demonstrate your skills in searching, citing and critically analysing relevant literature  Use your writing to demonstrate your academic writing skills  Include critical analysis of the literature  Use in-text citations correctly and make sure your reference list is accurate. The conclusion should:  Draw your ideas/findings together to summarise what has been discussed in the main body  Not include any new facts/information/discussion  Can include any recommendations for practice  Be short and concise Reference List:  A reference should be included for all in-text citations, a reference list should be included at the end in Harvard referencing style
